SYNOP: (NWS SAN DIEGO)
High pressure will bring warming and drying through Saturday with lowest inland humidity around 10 percent on Friday and Saturday. Weak onshore flow will spread cooling into the coast and valleys on Sunday and Monday with a small recovery in humidity for inland areas. Weak offshore flow on Tuesday with lowest inland humidity around 10 percent. Weak onshore flow will return on Wednesday and may strengthen later in the week. This will spread slow cooling and higher coastal humidity inland on Wednesday.

Maximum temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees above normal through the middle of next week, with mid 60s to mid 70s across the mountains and upper 70s and 80s in the valleys.

· Minimum humidity will be in the single digits and teens and nighttime humidity recovery will be poor away from the coastal areas through the middle of next week.

· Local offshore winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph will surface across the mountains and below the canyons and passes of Southern California Friday morning through Saturday morning and again Monday morning through Tuesday morning.

· No rain or strong offshore winds events are anticipated over the next week

NWS LAS VEGAS SYNOP– (NORTH & EAST OF COUNTY)
Dry weather and above normal temperatures will persist over our region through at least the middle of next week. North breezes can be expected near Laughlin and Bullhead each day through Saturday.

SPECIAL NOTES:

DAILY FUELS/FIRE POTENTIAL:
Fuels are extremely dry across the entire region and will stay very dry for the next week as warm temperatures and low humidity continue. Most PSAs are below the 3rd percentile in dead fuel moisture are breaking record dry levels. ERCs are breaking record high levels and are above the 97th percentile across many PSAs. Live fuels are critically dry and stay near 60%. New fires will occur each day for the next week. These fires will likely remain small due to the absence of widespread strong winds. However, if an ignition were to occur in a local windy area or in steep terrain during the afternoons, a large fire will be possible.

SANTA ANA WILDFIRE THREAT INDEX: TODAY: GREY-NO RATING

NO RATING: Sundowner winds are either not expected, or will not contribute to significant
