•Very warm conditions all areas including coast for October 8-14
•Possible Santa Ana wind October 8-11 with surface high pressure over Great Basin.
•Weaker Santa Ana October 12-16 but continued warm conditions
•Surface high pressure shifts over Central Plains, pattern change brings the storm track into the Pacific Northwest with only a chance of showers Socal, from October 15-20 with a frontal passage. Warmer than normal conditions prevail inland areas for October 15-20 and possible Santa Ana wind event.
•Battle between east Pacific/PacNW upper trough (storm) and weaker high pressure aloft for cooling trend and possible precipitation late October
