DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday

A period of moderate to heavy snow will impact the area from late Sunday afternoon through Sunday night, with light snow possibly lingering over the mountains through Monday. The period of heaviest snow should come in a 2 to 3 hour window Saturday evening, with snowfall rates that could exceed an inch per hour. While most of the snow will have concluded by Monday morning for the populated lower elevations, cold temperatures Sunday night
into Monday morning may cause residual travel disruptions for the Monday morning commute.

The pattern is expected to remain active with another round of snow possible during the middle of next week and again by the following weekend.
