NWS LAS VEGAS SYNOP– (NORTH & EAST OF COUNTY)
Gusty north winds and isolated showers will linger along the back side of a trough over southeast Nevada and northwest Arizona before it slowly moves away to the east this evening.
Diminishing winds, mild temperatures and sunny skies Saturday will be followed by increasing winds and chances for showers over the southern Great Basin early in the coming week. By mid-week, warmer temperatures and dry conditions return under an area of high pressure.

DAILY FUELS/FIRE POTENTIAL:
Seasonal grasses will continue to cure rapidly over the weekend. These fuel beds will be available for ignition at lower elevations across inland valleys and foothills this weekend, but light winds should keep rates of spread slow.
